I know I said I'd do this yonks ago, and I'm sorry I didn't get around to it sooner - life got busy. But I've finally gotten off my duff and made the Lower Tadfield Dreamwidth version.

Per our vote on the matter a while back, all discussion/posting will remain LJ-side for the time being and be periodically imported to the DW comm. If you want to edit/remove your content DW-side, you can log in with an OpenID of your LJ account and edit the posts from there.

Should the LJ situation become truly untenable for our purposes, this'll make a move much more seamless; for now, you can follow whichever you like and be in on all the fic/art/discussion-shaped goodness.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Armageddon.

Title: When you can take me by the hands
Rating: PG
Characters/Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley, Adam/Eve, Crowley-centric gen.
Warnings: Genesis.
Summary: Eve finds him there soon after. “Please,” she says again, disrupting the quiet. She says it desperately, like it’s the only thing she knows how to say. Perhaps it is, Crawly thinks; Adam certainly doesn’t know the word. “Please.”

Author's Note: On AO3 here.

Because we always need more of those, right? Mine's a sad WIP, I've only done the angels, demons, and Horsepersons so far (humans are haaaarrrd. How do they work?)

It's here at my journal.

Don't know if this one really brings anything new to the table except maybe the potential for a 300% spike in Hastur/Everyone, but I'm having fun.

Every once in a while, you find yourself embroiled in a project that long outstays its welcome and becomes a permanent fixture in your personal mythology. For me, the following Good Omens series, which I know many of you have read many times over (and which I still can't believe I was mad and/or foolish enough to write), has become just that, not least of all because [info]linnpuzzle illustrated it with incomparable flair:

1. A Crown of Stars

2. A Crown of Stars: Epilogue

3. Epilogue Postscript: Mending

4. Silly Bonus Feature #1: Closed Doors

5. Not-So-Silly Bonus Feature #2: C. (or, The One Set 100 Years Later)

I've unlocked these posts over at [info]puzzlebleuink, as, although Linn and I preferred to keep it locked for security reasons pertaining to LJ's stupid policies at the time, the requests I get for access to this series far outweigh any possible negative effects. If you've read these, you're good to go; you'll know where Uriel and Raphael come from. Original characters are something I do often in fanfiction, and I'm lucky that you all tolerate them with good humor. [info]ida_pea in particular loves Uriel and Raphael, and I can always count on her to make a request asking me what they're up to; in this case, assume that this ficlet is set in CoS-Verse's twin alternate universe (The Walls, the Wainscot, & the Mouse et al. where everything doesn't go to hell in a handbasket). The answer is, usually, "No good." And so, we have the following...

("Fair Game" - Uriel/Raphael - R)

Title: Judge Not
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley
Rating: R / NC-17
Word Count: 3,000
Notes: [info]puokki produced a prompt with so much substance that I couldn't even consider treating it as a standard ficlet: I'd love to see something dealing with Aziraphale's obvious prejudice against demons and, subsequently, against Crowley (like the time he's trying to explain the love he feels in Lower Tadfield, but just says something along lines of, "I can't explain it, especially not to you.") It's clear that Crowley thinks demons are not particularly evil, and they're just doing their jobs, and it's also clear that he takes Aziraphale's comments to heart. I just think it's one of those unresolved things between them. This is set just post-novel (late summer 1990, as chronology goes, for people who are nit-pickers like me), and it's first-time fic, which I kind of shy from these days, as well as I've got to know them. I may be out of practice. It's also a first-time in that this is the first time Aziraphale has ever set foot in Crowley's flat, which I've never covered; it seems to me Aziraphale's bookshop has always been the hang-out, and neither of them ever questioned that (much).
Summary: The prompt rather took care of that, don't you think?

Title: Views of Exiting Empire
Rating: PG
Characters/Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley.
Warnings: None.
Summary: Crowley feels dreadful, which, really, despite the fact that he is evil personified, the very tangible expression of Our Lord and Condemner on this lowly earth, suave owner of seven pairs of extremely expensive sunglasses and a state-of-the-art ansaphone, is not a particularly unusual state of affairs, relatively speaking.

Author's Note: Feel-better gift for [info]irisbleufic; on AO3 here.

( Such breathtaking views; archers of an afterthought. )

Hopefully this is the right place to post this-- I couldn't find a fic search master thread/entry, but if there is one, please direct me to it?

I've been wracking my brain like crazy trying to find a fic, but I can only remember one scene and a couple of details.

I remember Crowley getting really angry at Aziraphale, but I'm getting a bit ahead of myself-- the scene I'm remembering involves some kids and a police officer, I think. I think they're street kids and Crowley sort of looks after them? There are two incidents, if I'm remembering correctly, but the first time I think Crowley convinces Aziraphale to leave them alone-- they were causing trouble, perhaps. The second time, Crowley discovers that they're in trouble, or about to be, with the police, and Aziraphale is nearby in owl form? I'm pretty sure he's an owl, anyways. But Crowley gets really angry and throws a rock at him?

Anyways, pretty soon afterwards, when Aziraphale disappears, Crowley discovers that Aziraphale was going to thwart the police officer somehow (I think something involving a pillow maybe?) so that the kids wouldn't get in trouble, and he feels pretty bad, since he did some damage to Aziraphale's wing because of a misunderstanding.

Er, and then I think he goes back to apologize and possibly help Aziraphale with his wing, which is really a mess because of Crowley.

I can't remember anything else from this fic, but I don't think this was the only scene from it, but it was the one closest to the end, I believe... Anyways, thank you very much in advance for your help! Not being able to find this is driving me nuts!
